The Richmond Debate Institute (RDI) is an organization which hosts summer camps and workshops to introduce middle and high school students to competitive speech and debate. I was tasked with updating the org's visual identity with a new logo and brand kit. We stuck with the iconic clocktower motif but simplified the shapes and colors to be a little more legible. A tan stroke around the icon ensures visibility on both light and dark backgrounds, without having to invert the colors of the entire graphic. Once the rebrand was finished I used the fresh new assets in a variety of marketing materials, including an email campaign, print flyers, and social media content.
